Standards Act 1988

The Standards Act 1988—Proposed Adoption of Australian Standard as Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard

In line with the Australian/New Zealand Joint Standards Agreement, the Standards Association of New Zealand has proposed that the following Australian Standard should be adopted with a view to becoming a Joint Standard at the next printing stage:

AS 1366: Rigid cellular plastics sheets for thermal insulation.

Part 3: 1982 Rigid cellular polystyrene.

Comments on the proposal are invited and should be addressed to the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 181–187 Victoria Street (or Private Bag), Wellington 1. Attention: F. A. Hamlin. Closing date for receipt of comment: 10 December 1990.

Reserves Act 1977

Declaration that Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Hamilton City Council on the 12th day of September 1990:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves that the land held by the said city in fee simple, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby declared to be recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”

Revocation of Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Otago Conservancy, hereby revokes the reservation as a site for a kindergarten reserve over the land, described in the Schedule hereto.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying That the Land Shall Vest in The Dunedin City Council in Fee Simple and How the Value Therefore Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Otago Conservancy hereby revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land shall vest in The Dunedin City Council in fee simple provided that a sum equal to the value therefore shall be utilised as follows:
