Taumarunui District Prisons Board—Appointment

of Member

Pursuant to section 132 (2) (b) of the Criminal Justice Act
1985, the Minister of Justice has been pleased to appoint:

Bertha Ellen Carter, Justice of the Peace of Taumarunui
to be a member of the Taumarunui District Prisons Board for a
term of 3 years on and from the date hereof.

Judicature Act 1908

The High Court Sittings 1991

We, three Judges of the High Court of New Zealand, pursuant
to section 52 of the Judicature Act 1908, hereby appoint
sittings of the High Court for the despatch of civil and criminal
business during 1991 as follows:

Rotorua Judge and jury and all Other Classes of
Wellington Business: The Court will sit each week
Christchurch commencing from 1 February.

Hours of Sittings and Fixtures

  1. Sittings will commence at 10 a.m. daily during the periods
    stated (except on public holidays and during vacations).

  2. Fixtures for all business will be allocated by the Registrar in
    accordance with the rules and administrative directions of the
    Court.
