Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen acting through the Manager, District Operations, Central South (Wellington), Ministry of Education pursuant to delegated authority, and the Roman Catholic Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Wellington, as Proprietor of the following school:

St Patrick’s School, Wainuiomata.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed on the 26th day of October 1990. Copies of the supplementary integration agreement are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the District Office of the Ministry of Education, 123 Molesworth Street, Wellington.

Area Health Board’s Act 1983

The Hospitals Medical Information Notice 1990

Pursuant to section 50 (4) (l) of the Area Health Board’s Act 1983, the Minister of Health hereby gives the following notice:

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Hospitals Medical Information Notice 1990.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the day after the day of its publication in the Gazette.

  1. Disclosure of medical information to Committee of Inquiry into the death at Carrington Hospital of a patient, Manihera Mansell Watene, and other related matters which was established by warrant dated the 15th day of September 1990—(1) Any person to whom section 50 of the Area Health Board’s Act 1983 applies may, in accordance with subsection 4 (1) of that section, disclose to any of the persons named in subclause (2) of this clause any information:

(a) Which concerns the condition or medical history of Manihera Mansell Watene and any other person who is to appear as a witness before the Committee of Inquiry and who is, or has been, a patient at Carrington Hospital.

(2) The persons to whom information may be disclosed in accordance with section 50 (4) (l) of the Area Health Board’s Act 1983, pursuant to subclause (1) of this clause are:

Remembrance Day 1990

Citizens throughout New Zealand are requested to observe Remembrance Day on Sunday, the 11th day of November 1990.

The observance of this day should be similar to that of Remembrance Day last year. Two minutes’ silence to be observed from 11 a.m.

The Government trusts that all churches will agree to arrange, as far as practicable, for a morning service on this day, to commence at such time as to enable two minutes’ silence to be observed at 11 o’clock in the forenoon.

When a citizens’ memorial service is held, it is suggested that it should be at the local cenotaph or war memorial.
