Approval of Hazardous Substances Courses

Pursuant to paragraph 48 (2) (e) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986; and under powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport in an instrument of delegation dated the 31st day of August 1990; I, John Battersby Toomath, Manager Safety Standards, hereby approve the following courses and organisations for the purposes of paragraph 70H (1) (a) of the Transport Act 1962:

New Zealand Fire Service Commission Hazardous Substances Course conducted by New Zealand Fire Service Commission, as the organisation.

Declaring Conservation Land to be a Reserve

Pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares that the conservation land described in the Schedule hereto, shall be set aside as a reserve subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as a scenic reserve subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the latter Act, and further declares that the said reserve form part of the Tophouse Scenic Reserve.

Nelson Land District—Tasman District

  • 9003 square metres, more or less, being Sections 3 and 5, S.O. Plan 14338, situated in Block X, Motupiko Survey District.
