The Corporations (Investigation and Management) Reappointment of Advisory Committee Notice 1990

Pursuant to section 60 of the Corporations (Investigation and Management) Act 1989, I, the Honourable William Patrick Jeffries, the Minister of Justice give the following notice.

N o t i c e

1. Title—This notice may be cited as the Corporations (Investigation and Management) Reappointment of Advisory Committee Notice 1990.

2. Interpretation—In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires:

“The Act” means the Corporations (Investigation and Management) Act 1989.

“The companies” means the companies which are subject to statutory management under the Act as a result of the making of the Corporations (Investigations and Management) Order (No. 4) 1989*.

3. Extension—The term of appointment of Colin Ross Pidgeon of Auckland, Queen’s Counsel, (Chairperson) and Peter James Mahoney of Auckland, Registered Valuer, members of the advisory committee to the companies is hereby extended for one year.

4. Functions of advisory committee—In addition to the function conferred on the advisory committee by section 60 (2) (a) of the Act, the advisory committee shall, in relation to the companies, continue to report to the Minister of Justice, at intervals of no longer than 3 months, on the exercise of its functions under the Act.
