Land and Easement Acquired for Drainage Works in Taupo District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for drainage works, and the right to drain water easement in perpetuity described in the Second Schedule hereto (being appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto) is hereby acquired for drainage works over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land and easement shall vest in The Taupo District Council on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.
