Reservation of Land

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Conservation, with the consent of the Minister of Lands, hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto, as a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977.

Reserves Act 1977

Change of the Classification of Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby changes the classification of that part of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, from a recreation reserve to a local purpose (community use) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

The Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Otago Conservancy, declares that the following resolution was passed by the Waitaki District Council on the 25th day of June 1990:

"That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Waitaki District Council resolves that the piece of land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared to be recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act."

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury, hereby revokes the reservation as a Local Purpose (Road) Reserve over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Christchurch City Council in such manner, at such price and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

983 square metres, more or less, being Lot 27, D.P. 14152, situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District. Local Purpose (Road) Reserve by Section 6, Counties Amendment Act 1972.
