Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister deemed responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, jointly declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is held for conservation purposes and it shall hereafter be so held.

31.9160 hectares, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 13507, Block XV, Maruia Survey District.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to section 175 (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Conservation and with the approval of the Minister of Transport and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Nelson City Council to reclaim an area of 1773 square metres of tidal land at the Maitai River near Trafalgar Park more particularly described in the Schedule below.

All that parcel of tidal land containing 1773 square metres, more or less, situated in the Nelson Land District and more particularly shown marked areas A and B on plan S.O. 14538
