Land Acquired for the University of Otago in the City of Dunedin

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager (Lands and Property), Department of Survey and Land Information, Dunedin, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for the University of Otago and shall vest in the Crown on the 16th day of August 1990.

Otago Land District—Dunedin City

All that piece of land containing 369 square metres, being part Section 4, Block XXXXVI, Town of Dunedin. All certificate of title, Volume 271, folio 85.

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, New Plymouth, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for a technical institute, and vested in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

Land Declared to be Road and Road Stopped in Invercargill and Oteramika Hundreds, Southland District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Invercargill.

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road and shall vest in The Southland District Council (pursuant to a delegation under section 62, Transit New Zealand Act 1989) on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares those portions of road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped and when so stopped be amalgamated as follows:

(i) The portion of road firstly described be amalgamated in certificate of title No. 5B/1115, subject to existing encumbrances.

(ii) The portion of road secondly described be amalgamated in certificate of title No. 173/69, subject to existing encumbrances.
