Public Works Act 1981

Land at 38 Severn Street Acquired for the Purposes of a Road

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for the purposes of a road and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this declaration in the Gazette.

749 square metres, being Lot 37, Deposited Plan 9731, part Rural Section 324; all certificate of title 491/14.

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for recreation ground and shall vest in The Christchurch City Council on the date of publication of this declaration in the Gazette.

Amending a Notice Acquiring Land in Waimea Terrace for Road

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, hereby amends the notice dated the 14th day of June 1990, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 21 June 1990, No. 101 at page 2154, declaring land to be acquired for road, by deleting in the sixth line of the first paragraph the words “acquired for the purposes of a road” and substituting the words “acquired for road”.

Amending a Declaration Declaring Land in Kaipara District to be Vested

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Auckland, amends the declaration dated the 25th day of February 1990, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 8 March 1990, No. 34, page 743, declaring land in Kaipara District to be vested pursuant to section 117 of the Public Works Act 1981 by deleting from the operative clause the name “John McMillan Muir of Waimamaku” and substituting the name “John McMillan Muir of Wainamaku”.

Amending a Declaration Declaring Land and an Easement Over Land Acquired for Social Welfare Purposes in the City of Birkenhead

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Auckland, amends the declaration dated the 22nd day of August 1989, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 31 August 1989, No. 152, page 3911, acquiring land and an easement over land in the City of Birkenhead (now North Shore City) pursuant to sections 20 and 48 of the Public Works Act 1981 by inserting after the legal description of the land described in the Fifth Schedule the words “All that piece of land containing 732 square metres, being part Lot 38, D.P. 19228, part Allotment 2, Parish of Takapuna, Balance certificate of title 884/40, North Auckland Land Registry.”
