The Traffic (Selwyn District) Notice No. 1 1990

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, J. Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:

Notice

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Selwyn District) Notice No. 1 1990.

The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The Traffic (Malvern County) Notice No. 2, 1982, dated on the 13th day of October 11982*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, is revoked.

No. 73 State Highway (Christchurch-Kumara): from a point 450 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said State highway from Courtenay Road to a point 200 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Anson Street.

Courtenay Road: from a point 100 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said road from Hoskyns Road to a point 300 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said road from Adelaide Street.

Approval of Hazardous Substances Courses

Pursuant to paragraph 48 (2) (e) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986; and under powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport in an instrument of delegation dated the 14th day of November 1989; I, John Battersey Toomath, Manager Safety Standards, hereby approve the following courses and organisations for the purposes of paragraph 70A (1) (a) of the Transport Act 1962:

Water Technology (NZ) Ltd. Hazardous Substances Course conducted by Water Technology (NZ) Ltd., as the organisation.

I, Thomas Edwin Law, Senior Advisory Officer (Harbours Management) of the Ministry of Transport, pursuant to regulation 20 (1) of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979, that power being delegated to me pursuant to sections 8 and 9 of the Ministry of Transport Act 1968, give the following notice:

Notice

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Water Recreation (Lake William) Notice 1990.

(b) This notice shall come into force 14 days after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette and it shall remain in force until revoked by further notice in the Gazette.

  1. Pursuant to the Water Recreation Regulations 1979, clause 2 of the Water Recreation (Lake William) Notice 1986* is revoked.
