Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986
Approval of Defensive Driving Courses
Pursuant to section 48 (2) (a) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986, and pursuant to a delegation given by the Secretary for Transport in an instrument dated the 14th day of November 1989; I, Warren Richard Gillespie Simeon, Controller, Traffic Education Standards, hereby approve the following organisations to be defensive driving course instructors for the purposes of section 68 of the Transport Act 1962 and Regulations 11 (1) (b) (i) and 32 (2) of the Transport (Drivers Licensing) Regulations 1987:
Marlborough Girls College Defensive Driving Course, Blenheim.
Nelson Polytechnic Defensive Driving Course, Nelson.
Kaikoura High School Defensive Driving Course, Kaikoura.
Central Hawkes Bay College Defensive Driving Course, Waipukurau.

Sharon Beehre Defensive Driving Course, Whangarei.
Morrinsville College Defensive Driving Course, Morrinsville.
Telemco Auckland Ltd Defensive Driving Course, Auckland.
AA (Taranaki) Inc. Defensive Driving Course, New Plymouth.
AA (South Taranaki) Inc. Defensive Driving Course, Hawera.

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to section 3 of the Valuers Act 1948, the Minister in Charge of the Valuation Department has appointed:
Peter Edward Tierney
to be a member of the Valuers Registration Board, to hold office for a term of 3 years commencing on the 1st day of May 1990. The said Peter Edward Tierney having been appointed on the recommendation of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers pursuant to section 3(2)(b) of the said Act.

The Borough of Oamaru, and the County of Waitaki.
This notice revokes the previous notice headed βDesignation of North Otago Community Arts Councilβ which appeared in the New Zealand Gazette, 1976 No. 15 page 304.
