At Wellington this 25th day of June 1990

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

Pursuant to sections 23 (1) (a) and 27 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

Order

1. Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Agricultural Pests Destruction (Taranaki Region) Pest Destruction District Order 1990.

(2) This order shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.

2. Constitution of Taranaki Region Pest Destruction District—The area comprising the Taranaki Region, as constituted by clause 4 of the Local Government (Taranaki Region) Reorganisation Order 1989 (Gazette, 1989, Vol. III, page 2445), is hereby constituted as a pest destruction district to be known as the Taranaki Region Pest Destruction District.

3. Abolition of pest destruction districts—Every pest destruction district—

(a) In existence on the 1st day of November 1989; and

(b) All or any part of which was, on that date, within the said region; and

(c) Not abolished by the said Reorganisation Order—
is hereby abolished.

(c) Not abolished by the said Reorganisation Order—
is hereby abolished.

Constitution of Manawatu-Wanganui Region Pest Destruction District—The area comprising the Manawatu-Wanganui Region, as constituted by clause 4 of the Local Government (Manawatu-Wanganui Region) Reorganisation Order 1989 (Gazette, 1989, Vol. III, page 2351), is hereby constituted as a pest destruction district to be known as the Manawatu-Wanganui Region Pest Destruction District.

Constitution of Nelson-Marlborough Region Pest Destruction District—The area comprising the Nelson-Marlborough Region, as constituted by clause 4 of the Local Government (Nelson-Marlborough Region) Reorganisation Order 1989 (Gazette, 1989, Vol. III, page 2375), is hereby constituted as a pest destruction district to be known as the Nelson-Marlborough Region Pest Destruction District.

3. Abolition of pest destruction districts—Every pest destruction district—

(a) In existence on the 1st day of November 1989; and

(b) All or any part of which was, on that date, within the said region; and

(c) Not abolished by the said Reorganisation Order—
is hereby abolished.
