Maori Land Development Notice

Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

Notice

This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1989, No. 5.
The notices referred to in the First Schedule hereto are hereby revoked by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
The lands described in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of an urupa for the common use and benefit of Ngati Horomoana/Te Whanau A Hikarukutai.

All that piece of land situated in Block II, Tokata Survey District and described as follows:

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a papakainga and building site for the common use and benefit of Te Uri O Wirihana Te Rangi and Moana Te Rangi.

Corrigendum

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

In the Notice issued on the 4th day of August 1988 and published in New Zealand Gazette, 11 August 1988, No. 141, page 3255, amend the area of the land in the Schedule from 2.80727 hectares to read 2.57750 hectares.
