Road Stopped and Land Declared to be Road in Raglan County

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager of Lands, Hamilton:

(i) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road and vested in The Raglan County Council;

(ii) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the pieces of road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped and further declares the said stopped road, now known as Section 1, S.O. 53438 and Section 2, S.O. 53438 respectively, to be added to the adjoining land held for coal mining operations under Part IV of the Coal Mines Act 1979 and contained in Gazette notice H. 515350.

First Schedule

South Auckland Land District

1170 square metres, situated in Block XV, Rangiriri Survey District, being part Allotment 49, Pepepe Parish; as shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 53438, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton.

Second Schedule

South Auckland Land District

Situated in Block XV, Rangiriri Survey District.

As shown marked as above mentioned on S.O. Plan 53438, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton.

Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Hauraki Plains County

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Solicitor, Department of Lands, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in the Crown on the 1st day of June 1989.
