Road Realignment in Thames-Coromandel District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Hamilton:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road which, pursuant to section 11 (1A) of the National Roads Act 1953, shall form part of State Highway No. 25.

(b) Pursuant to section 117, declares the portion of stopped road described in the Second Schedule hereto, now known as Section 63, Block XVI, Tairua Survey District, to be vested in The Thames-Coromandel District Council.

862 Part Lot 177, D.P. S. 22665; marked “B” on plan.

458 Part Lot 184, D.P. S. 22665; marked “C” on plan.

Situated in Block XVI, Tairua Survey District.

As shown marked as above mentioned on S.O. Plan 51856 lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton.

Second Schedule

South Auckland Land District

All that piece of stopped road containing 817 square metres, situated in Block XVI, Tairua Survey District, adjoining part Lot 2, D.P. 34924, as shown marked “D” on S.O. Plan 51856, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton.

Dated at Hamilton this 5th day of May 1989.

Maori Affairs Act 1953

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of papakainga housing and recreation area for the common use and benefit of the Te Whareiti Hapu.
