Declaring an Interest in Land for Irrigation Purposes in the Bay of Islands County

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, a right to convey water containing the rights and powers set forth in clauses 1, 2 and 5 of the Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act 1952, as modified by the agreement dated the 22nd day of February 1989, between the Crown and Robin Geoffrey Thorp of Kerikeri, farmer and Margaret Rose Thorp, his wife, a copy of which may be perused at the office of the Department of Lands at Auckland and identified by No. 25/30/2 is hereby acquired over the land described in the Schedule hereto, for irrigation purposes and shall vest in the Crown on the 4th day of May 1989.

All that piece of land containing 2610 square metres, being part Section 59, Block XII, Kaeo Survey District; as shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 62841, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland.

Road Realignment in the County of Southland

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Invercargill:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road, which, pursuant to section 11 (1A) of the National Roads Act 1953, shall form part of State Highway 92.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped and declares that:

(i) The areas marked ‘C’, ‘E’, ‘G’ and ‘K’ shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 6D/813.

(ii) The area marked ‘I’ shall be amalgamated with the land held as a scenic reserve (Chaslands Scenic Reserve) described in the Third Schedule hereto.
