The Traffic (Manukau City-Manurewa Ward) Notice No. 1, 1989

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:

Notice

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Manukau City-Manurewa Ward) Notice No. 1, 1989.

The road specified in the First Schedule is excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The road specified in the Second Schedule is declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

So much of the Traffic (Manukau City-Manurewa Ward) Notice No. 1, 1987, signed on the 13th day of October 1987*, which relates to the road in the Schedules below, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, is revoked.

First Schedule

Situated within the Manurewa Ward of Manukau City:
Wiri Station Road.

Second Schedule

Situated within the Manurewa Ward of Manukau City:
Wiri Station Road: from Druces Road to Ash Road and from Great South Road to a point 180 metres measured easterly, generally, along Wiri Station Road from Dawes Avenue.

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimairi District) Notice No. 1, 1989.

The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The road specified in the Second Schedule is declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

So much of the Traffic (Waimairi District) Notice No. 3, 1984, signed on the 8th day of October 1984*, which relates to roads in the Schedules below, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 is revoked.

Ballymena Place.
Burnridge Place.
Halligan Place.
Kildare Street.
Kilkenny Place.
March Place.
Mayo Place.
Monaghan Street.
Purakanui Place.
Thompsons Road: from No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 300 metres measured easterly, generally, along Thompsons Road from the said highway.
Tisch Place.

Second Schedule

Situated within Waimairi District at Belfast:
Johns Road: from No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 480 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along Johns Road from Lagan Street.

Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986

Approval of Traffic Improvement Schools

Pursuant to section 48 (2) (a) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986, and pursuant to a delegation given by the Secretary for Transport in an instrument dated the 2nd day of November 1987, I, Geoffrey Thomas Henry, Assistant Director of Road Transport, hereby approve the following schools for the purposes of issuing a certificate of completion of a course of advanced instruction in terms of regulation 32 (2) of the Transport (Driver Licensing) Regulations 1987:
