for the issue of a provisional mortgage in lieu thereof, I hereby give notice of my intention to issue such provisional mortgage on expiration of 14 days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

Charitable Trust Act Notices

Hargreaves Charitable Trust

Pursuant to Section 36 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957

On Wednesday, 28 June 1989 the trustees of the Hargreaves Charitable Trust will apply to the High Court at Wellington for approval for a scheme widening the charitable purposes of the trust.

At present the only beneficiaries permitted in terms of the trust are indigent widows of officers of the Bank of New Zealand.

The proposed amendments extend this category of beneficiary to include, in the following order of priority:

Indigent widows of Bank of New Zealand officers; former BNZ Bank officers, their spouses or children who are in financial hardship; and BNZ Bank officers, their spouses or children who are in financial hardship.

Any person desiring to oppose this scheme is required to give written notice of objection to the Registrar of the High Court at Wellington, to the trustees and to the Attorney-General not less than 7 clear days before the hearing date set out above.

Friendly Society Act Notices

Exemptions Under Section 160 (6)

The Minister of Finance has exempted the Post Office Investment Society Ltd., register No. 831 from the following provisions of the Friendly Societies and Credit Unions Act 1982 under section 160 (6) provisions of the Act.

Sections 106 (3), 107, 108, and 112.

Pursuant to section 104 of the Friendly Societies and Credit Unions Act 1982, the Post Office Investment Society Ltd., with a registered office at Wellington is registered as a credit union under the Friendly Societies and Credit Unions Act 1982.

I, Bernard Gerard Francis Hickey, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, hereby declare that as it has been made to appear to me that the declaration dissolving Hastings Netball Sub-Association Incorporated NA. I.S. 227580, was made in error and that the declaration ought to be revoked, the said declaration is hereby revoked accordingly pursuant to section 28 (3) of the Incorporated Societies Act 1908.
