Declaring Land to be Crown Land in the County of Franklin
Pursuant to section 42 (3) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Land Manager, Department of Lands, declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
Schedule
North Auckland Land District
All that piece of land containing 766 square metres, being Lot 1, D.P. 128094. All convenience 236013, deeds index 26A/350 and all Proclamation 12038, North Auckland Land Registry.

Acquiring Land and Interests in Land for Irrigation Purposes in the Bay of Islands County
Pursuant to sections 20 (1) and 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and the power supply easement described in the Second Schedule hereto over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, and a right of way containing the rights and powers set forth in the first paragraph of the Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act 1952 over the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto, the said power supply easement and right of way to be appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and a right to convey water over, along or under the land described in the Fifth Schedule hereto, containing the rights and powers set forth in clauses 1, 2 and 5 of the Seventh Schedule to the said Land Transfer Act, and modified by agreements dated 24th day of February 1989, between the Crown and Owen Eyre Baxter of Mangamuka Bridge, farmer, copies of which may be perused at the office of the Department of Lands at Auckland and identified by No. 25/30/26, are hereby acquired for irrigation purposes and the said land and easements shall vest in the Crown on the 20th day of April 1989.

All that piece of land containing 60 square metres, being part Section 13, Block I, Kawakawa Survey District; as shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 58698, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland.
Second Schedule

Description of Power Supply Easement
The full and free right, liberty, authority and licence in perpetuity for the Crown, its agents, servants, workmen, employees, contractors and any other person lawfully entitled thereto from time to time and at all times to lay, construct, place, remove, reconstruct, cleanse, repair or maintain any pump-house, electrical cables and mains or lay, lift, repair and relay additional cables and mains and do all and singular, upon or under the land described in the Third Schedule hereto such acts, deeds, matters, or things as the Crown its agents, servants, workmen, employees, or contractors may consider necessary or desirable for or in anywise in connection with the laying, constructing, placing, removing, reconstructing, repairing, and maintaining or use of such pump-house and electrical cables and mains and the transmission of electricity along, and over the land described in the said Third Schedule.

In the notice with the above heading, issued on the 16th day of March 1988 and published in New Zealand Gazette, 24 March 1989, No. 15, page 1147, amend the area of the land in the Schedule from 193.6294 hectares to read 156.6676 hectares.
