Judge of the Labour Court Appointed and Chief Judge Appointed
Pursuant to section 288 (1) of the Labour Relations Act 1987, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, has been pleased to appoint
Thomas George Goddard of Wellington
to be a Judge of the Labour Court, commencing on the 1st day of May 1989; and to be the Chief Judge of the Labour Court, commencing on the 2nd day of September 1989.

Cancellation of Registration of Union/Employers Organisation for Failure to Deliver Annual Accounts
Pursuant to section 31 (3) of the Labour Relations Act 1987, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Palmerston North Hotel Association Industrial Union of Employers, Registered No. 1602, situated at Palmerston North has been cancelled as from the following date for failure to deliver to the Registrar a copy of its accounts together with a certificate signed by the Auditor in accordance with section 49 of this Act.

The Road Classification (Waimate County) Notice No. 1, 1989
Pursuant to regulation 12 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974, Amendment No. 5, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:

This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Waimate County) Notice No. 1, 1989.

The Waimate County Council's proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule is approved.

The Road Classification (Waimate County) Notice No. 1, 1969, dated the 8th day of October 1969; and the Road Classification Notice titled, Classification of Roads in Waimate County, dated the 21st day of December 1966, issued pursuant to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955, and the Road Classification Notice titled, Classification of Roads in Waimate County, dated the 12th day of April 1951, issued pursuant to regulation 3 (5) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1950, are revoked.

All roads under the control of the Waimate County Council.
