The appointment of Lieutenant Colonel C. J. C. Marchant, E.D., as Colonel Commandant, RNZAOC, is extended for a period of 3 years with effect from 1 April 1989.

Major N. A. Hitchings is transferred to the Territorial Force with effect from 24 December 1988.

Captain R. J. Easton, B.C.A., DIP.SOC.SC., to be acting Major with effect from 12 December 1988.

Temporary Captain and Quartermaster William Graeme Burnett is transferred to the Army Reserve, General List of Officers, in his present rank with effect from 19 January 1989.
