Gas By-Law

Hutt Valley Energy Board—Amended Gas By-Laws

Notice is hereby given that at the meeting of the Hutt Valley Energy Board held on 16 February 1989, the following resolution was passed:

“It was resolved that the removal of Gas By-Law No. 14 be approved by special order, to be confirmed at the Board meeting on 23 March 1989.”

The object of the revocation of Gas By-Law No. 14 is to allow the Hutt Valley Energy Board to standardise gas supply pressure to all new small loads (e.g., domestic customers) at 35 kPa.

Current Gas By-Laws came into force in 1985. The proposed amended Gas By-Laws shall come into force on the date to be specified by the Board at its March meeting.

Copies of the proposed amendment to the Gas By-Laws may be inspected at the Board’s offices during normal business hours. The March meeting will be held on 23 March 1989 at 3 p.m. at the Board’s offices, 45 Knights Road, Lower Hutt.
