Pursuant to section 3 (1) (b) of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

Order

1. Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Agricultural Pests Destruction (Pests of Local Importance in Waitaki Valley District) Order 1989.

(2) This order shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.

2. Pests of local importance in Waitaki Valley District—Possums, wallabies, hares, and rooks are hereby declared to be pests of local importance in the Waitaki Valley Pest Destruction District.

Animals Act 1967

Approved Woolmarking Preparation (Notice No. 4895; Ag. 1310-38)

Pursuant to sections 69 and 94 of the Animals Act 1967 and after consultation with the New Zealand Wool Board, I hereby give notice that the woolmarking preparation set out in the Schedule hereto (being a product of Donaghys Rural Products Ltd.) is approved for sale and use in marking wool of sheep.

This approval takes effect on the day following the date of publication in the Gazette.
