Local Government Act 1974

Notice is given that the Authority, at its meeting held on 16 October 1989, resolved as follows:

Declaration of Lands Required for Road Improvement Land in Manukau City

In pursuance of the powers vested in it by section 373 of the Local Government Act 1974 and every other power enabling it in that behalf, the Auckland Regional Authority resolves as follows:

That the lands described in the Schedule hereto be declared and the same are hereby declared to be road improvement land within the meaning and for the purposes of the said Act following prior consultation with the constituent authority within which the lands are situated.

Schedule

All those portions of land situated in Manukau City in the North Auckland Registration District, shown cross hatched on the authority's drawing No. 714215-01. The lands affected are shown in detail on the said plan but a general description of them is as follows:

(a) Western Side of Ti Rakau Drive

(b) Eastern Side of Ti Rakau Drive

Local Authorities Loans Act 1956

Auckland Regional Authority Special Order

That the Auckland Regional Authority in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, section 39 and in pursuance of the Authority conferred upon it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and in exercise of all other powers enabling it on that behalf doth hereby resolve by special resolution intended to operate as a special order to borrow the sum of six million dollars ($6,000,000) as a special loan to be known as Primary Roading Loan No. 1 1989, $6,000,000 for the purposes of improvement works on the Primary Road Network.

The foregoing special order was passed at an ordinary meeting of the Auckland Regional Authority held on the 18th day of September 1988 and confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the said authority held on the 16th day of October 1989, having meantime been advertised in the Auckland Star on the 2nd and 9th day of October 1989.

The Common Seal of the Auckland Regional Authority was hereto affixed in the presence of the Chairman and Secretary.
