Land Declared to be Motorway in the City of Christchurch and in the District of Waimairi

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At Wellington this 16th day of October 1989

Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to section 138 (1) (b) of the Public Works Act 1981, His Excellency the Governor General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a motorway.

Schedule

Canterbury Land District

All that portion of State Highway 1 in the City of Christchurch and in the District of Waimairi, Christchurch Southern Motorway and being those traffic lanes, shoulders and verges to the fences commencing at the western side of Barrington Street and proceeding in a westerly direction to the north eastern side of the intersection with Curletts Road.

As shown on plan NRBCH/41 deposited in the office of the Regional Manager, Transit New Zealand at Christchurch and thereon coloured red.

Harbours Act 1950

Sale of Greymouth Harbour Board Land

  1. William Patrick Jeffries, Minister of Transport, having obtained the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve pursuant to section 143A (1) (a) and section 143C (1) (b) (i) of the Act, the sale of land described in the Schedule below by the Greymouth Harbour Board and I specify that my approval is effective from the date of this notice.

Schedule

All that parcel of land containing 8060 square metres, more or less, situated in the Borough of Brunner, being Section 62, Town of Dobson Suburban and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title 5A/1261, Land Registration District of Westland.

All that parcel of land containing 8094 square metres, more or less, situated in the Borough of Brunner, being Section 11, Town of Dobson Suburban and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title 5A/1211, Land Registration District of Westland.

All that parcel of land containing 2022 square metres, more or less, situated in the Borough of Brunner, being Section 61, Town of Dobson Suburban and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title 5A/1260, Land Registration District of Westland.

All that parcel of land containing 3408 square metres, more or less, situated in the Borough of Brunner, being part Section 60, Town of Dobson.
