Commander Graham Francis Nixey, M.B.E., is placed on the Emergency List of Officers of the Naval Reserves until 29 September 1991, with effect from 30 September 1989.

Lieutenant Commander N. T. Byrne, M.B.E., to be acting Commander with effect from 25 September 1989, and temporary Commander with effect from 28 September 1989.

Acting Commander Ross George Garnett Sanson is placed on the Retired List of the RNZN in the rank of Commander, with effect from 15 October 1989.

Lieutenant Commander Phillip Michael Molineaux is placed on the Emergency List of Officers of the Naval Reserves until 28 September 1993, with effect from 29 September 1989.

The appointment of Lieutenant Commander M. J. Millar is extended until 10 January 1998.

The appointments of the following are extended until the date shown:

The appointment of Lieutenant John Vincent Barry McLinden, LL.B.(HONS), is terminated with effect from 15 September 1989.

Temporary Lieutenant Commander J. B. Barton to be Lieutenant Commander with seniority and effect from 1 October 1989.

The appointment of Lieutenant V. J. Payne is extended until 30 September 1994.
