A Leasehold Estate Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Thames-Coromandel District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Solicitor, Department of Lands, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto held by New Zealand Social Credit Political League Incorporated, is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in The Hauraki Catchment Board on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

Amending a Declaration Acquiring Land and Easements Over Land in Taupo County

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Solicitor, Department of Lands, Hamilton, hereby amends the declaration dated the 5th day of May 1987, published in New Zealand Gazette of 21 May 1987, No. 74 at page 2249, acquiring land and easement over land for a waste-water treatment plant in Taupo County by deleting the fourth to eighth lines inclusive from the preamble and inserting the following:

“hereby are acquired for a waste-water treatment plant and the easements described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto, are hereby acquired for a waste-water treatment plant over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land and easements shall vest in The Taupo County Council.”

Right of Way Easement Over Land Acquired for a Telecommunications Installation in Otorohanga District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Solicitor of the Department of Lands, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement between the Otorohanga District Council (as registered proprietor) and the Crown dated the 23rd day of March 1984 and held in the office of the Department of Lands, Hamilton having been entered into, the right of way easement (which may be surrendered by notice in the Gazette) described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for a telecommunications installation over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, subject to the rights and imposing the conditions contained in the said agreement, such right of way to be held appurtenant to the land described in Gazette notice H. 885626, South Auckland Land Registry; and further declares that the said easement shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

The rights and powers implied in and attaching to a right of way as set out in the Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act 1952, under the heading “Right of Way” as if the same were fully set out herein, except where negatived by the rights and conditions referred to in the above-mentioned agreement dated 23 March 1984.
