Land Declared to be Road, Road Stopped and Amalgamated in the District of Wairoa

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Napier:

(a) Pursuant to section 114 (1), declares the land described in the First Schedule to be road and vested in the Crown and pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 2.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 (1) and 117 (3), declares the road described in the Second Schedule to be stopped, (now known as Sections 34, 35 and 36, Block II, Clyde Survey District) shall vest in the proprietors of Ohuia Block, a body corporate subject to Part XIII of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, subject to mortgages 200332, 222025, 384926.2, 440264.1, 453564.1, 461166.1 and 492188.1.
