Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Nelson, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired, together with and subject to the right of way and water and incidental rights created by transfer 28036, for defence purposes and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby acquired, together with and subject to the rights hereinbefore mentioned, in connection with defence purposes, and that the said areas shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

Declaring Land to be a Limited Access Road, Road to be Stopped and Stopped Road to be Crown Land in Franklin County

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981 and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Manager, Department of Lands, Auckland, declares:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be a limited access road, which pursuant to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989 has become road, limited access road and State highway and, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 2.

(b) Pursuant to section 116, the road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped.

(c) Pursuant to section 42, the stopped road described in the Third Schedule hereto to be Crown land.
