Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976

Specification Declared Suitable

Pursuant to the provisions of regulation 18 (3) of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976, the following specification is declared suitable for the purposes of these regulations.

British Standard

BS 3871: Part 1 1965 plus amendments AMD 43, 1612 and 3594.

Specification for Miniature and Moulded Case Circuit Breakers.

Miniature air-break circuit-breaker for a.c. circuits.

Compliance with a declared standard specification shall not preclude the need to comply with the requirements of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976.

Amendment to Delegation of Functions of Department of Health to Auckland Area Health Board

Pursuant to section 36 (2) of the Area Health Boards Act 1983, I, George Cockburn Salmond, Director-General of Health, hereby give the following notice.

Notice

The notice issued by me published in the Gazette, No. 1, 12 January 1989, at pages 7, 8 and 9, concerning the Delegation of Functions of the Department of Health to the Auckland Area Health Board is hereby amended by inserting, in clause 3 of Part B, after the words in parenthesis “(the Food Regulations 1984”, the words “, and the Dietary Supplements Regulations 1985”.
