Notice to Set Apart and Define a Special Quarantine Ground at Awhauhuri (Notice No. 4484; QUAL/0996/AWA)

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to section 11A (1) of the Animals Act 1967, land of the New Zealand Dairy Board, shown on plan No. 1411063 and contained within part Lot 1, D.P. 23061 (certificate of title S28/167), being 31.37 hectares, more or less, situated in the Kairanga Survey District, is hereby declared to be a special quarantine ground and is an extension of special quarantine ground (Notice No. 4016; Ag. 6/4/3/0/1), Gazette, 26 March 1987, No. 38, page 1334.

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to section 11A (1) of the Animals Act 1967, land on B. McQuilkin's property, 109 Chivalry Road, Glenfield, Auckland, title No. 2074/22, being 0.0827 hectares, more or less, situated in Waitemata Survey District, Block VIII, Lot 9, D.P. 46079, is hereby declared to be a special quarantine ground for the detention of imported animals.

Noxious Plants Act 1978

Notice Declaring Old Man's Beard (Clematis vitalba) a Class B Noxious Plant (No. 4481; Ag. 12/10/18/6)

1. Pursuant to section 19 of the Noxious Plants Act 1978, the Noxious Plants Council hereby declares old man's beard (Clematis vitalba) to be a Class B noxious plant in that part of New Zealand lying within the boundaries of Christchurch City, Lyttelton Borough, Paparua/Waimairi, Oroua County, Kiwitea/Pohangina, Feilding Borough, Palmerston North City and Manawatu County District Noxious Plants Authorities.

2. This notice shall come into effect on the day after its date of notification in the Gazette.

1. Pursuant to section 19 of the Noxious Plants Act 1978, the Noxious Plants Council hereby declares woolly nightshade (Solanum mauritianum) to be a Class B noxious plant in that part of New Zealand lying within the boundaries of Rotorua District Noxious Plants Authority.

2. This notice shall come into effect on the day after its date of notification in the Gazette.

Commerce Act 1986

Appointment of Member to the Commerce Commission

Pursuant to section 11 of the Commerce Act 1986, the Minister of Commerce has appointed

Edward Allan Hudson of Parramata

to be an Associate Member of the Commerce Commission for matters relating to the authorisation of Restrictive Trade Practices, the clearance and authorisation of mergers and takeovers and the authorisation of prices for controlled goods and services for a period of 1 year commencing from the 1st day of January 1989.
