Maori Land Development Notice

Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

N o t i c e

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Rotorua 1989, No. 8.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

National Roads Board

Maori Affairs Act 1953

A Proclamation

Pursuant to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Most Reverend Sir Paul Alfred Reeves, the Governor-General of New Zealand, is respectfully advised to sign this Proclamation declaring the land described in the Schedule hereto and comprised on a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by Order dated the 9th day of February 1989, to be road and to be vested in The Tauranga County Council.

All that piece of land containing 1.4324 hectares, more or less, situated in Block III, Maketu Survey District and is more particularly delineated on M.L. Plan 21970, deposited in the Office of the Chief Surveyor, Hamilton.

Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Railways Corporation, with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways, hereby declares the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for museum purposes.
