Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Wanganui 1989, No. 5.

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of an urupa for the common use and benefit of the Taewa Family, the urupa to be called “Te Whanau-o-Ahiateatun.”

All that piece of land situated in Block VII, Mata Survey District and described as follows:

Area: 1592 m²

Being Part Ahiateatuna A3C shown on plan M.L. 7981 and being part of the land contained in the equitable partition order dated 9 September 1959.
