Racing Act 1971

Dissolution of Trotting Club

Pursuant to the power and authority vested in him by section 34 of the Racing Act 1971, the Minister of Internal Affairs notifies for public information that the property belonging to the Egmont Trotting Club be disposed of as below:

Property of the Egmont Trotting Club:

One television; one trophy; money.

(i) The television set shall remain in the Taranaki Trotting Club's stand, as at present.

(ii) The trophy to be donated to the Taranaki, Stratford and Hawera Trotting Clubs, to be presented to the Harness Horse of the Year.

(iii) The money to be used towards the stake of a CO penalty bearing race to be held at the Taranaki Trotting Club trials on Sunday, 3 December 1989. The remainder of the $2,500 stake to be put forward equally by the three clubs.
