Reserves Act 1977

Declaration That Land is Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Waikato Region of the Department of Conservation hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Hamilton City Council on the 14th day of June 1989:

"That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said city in fee simple and, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act."

567 square metres, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. 55921, situated in N.Z.M.S. 261 Sheet 30.37. (Hamilton). All certificate of title 41A/600.

Amendment to a Notice Revoking the Reservation Over Reserves

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Deputy Director-General (Resource Protection) of the Department of Conservation acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation hereby amends an error in the notice revoking the reservation over reserves and specifying the manner of disposal and how proceeds of sale shall be utilised dated the 22nd day of June 1989 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 116 of 6 July 1989 at page 2925, by omitting from the said notice all reference to D.P. 2992 and inserting “D.P. 2999” in each place it occurs.

Revocation of Appointments to Control and Manage Reserves

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Waikato Conservancy hereby revokes the appointment of the Waitomo District Council to control and manage the Pio Pio and Ngapaenga Scenic Reserves described in the Schedule hereto.

Declaration that Private Land Shall Be Protected Private Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977 and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Wellington hereby declares that the private land, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be protected private land in perpetuity for scenic purposes, [section 19 (1) (A)], subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Revocation of a Notice Relating to a Reserve and Issue of a Fresh Notice

Pursuant to Section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Director, Estate Protection Policy, Department of Conservation, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation hereby revokes the notice revoking the reservation over a reserve as an addition to Te Anau Accommodation House, dated 19 June 1989 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 29 June 1989, No. 111, page 2336 and hereby issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.
