Pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Gisborne, declares the land described in the Schedule to be set apart for the purposes of a periodic detention reporting centre.

Road Stopped and Crown Land Set Apart for Road, Dannevirke District

Pursuant to sections 116 and 117 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Napier, declares the part of road described in the First Schedule to be stopped, and further declares that the stopped road (now known as Section 2, S.O. 9742) shall be dealt with as Crown land under the Land Act 1948, and pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, declares the Crown land described in the Second Schedule to be set apart for road which pursuant to section 11 (1A) of the National Roads Act 1953 shall form part of State Highway No. 2 on the date of publication in the Gazette.

Road Realignment in Hawke’s Bay County

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Napier:

(a) Pursuant to section 114 (1), declares the land described in the First Schedule to be road.

(b) Pursuant to section 116 (1), declares the road described in the Second Schedule to be stopped.

(c) Declares the land described in the Third Schedule to be taken for the purposes of section 119 (1).

(d) Pursuant to section 117, declares that the stopped road described in the Fourth Schedule shall be dealt with as follows:

(i) Areas 1–7 inclusive and 16–18 inclusive shall be amalgamated with certificate of title A1/625, subject to the restrictions in section 206 of the Land Act 1924, and mortgages 376703.1, 228894, 264672 and 353861.1.

(ii) Area 8 shall be amalgamated with certificate of title 134/124, subject to fencing covenant in transfer 101895 and mortgages 376703.1, 228894 and 264672.

(iii) Areas 10–12 inclusive shall be amalgamated with certificate of title C3/233, subject to section 36 (4) of the Counties Amendment Act 1961, and mortgage 399888.2.

(iv) Areas 13–15 inclusive shall be amalgamated with certificate of title 117/56, subject to mortgage 230764.

(v) Areas 20–36 inclusive and 40, shall be amalgamated with certificate of title 171/83.

(vi) Areas 37 and 39 shall be amalgamated with certificate of title 171/84, subject to mortgage 404983.2.

(vii) Area 38 shall be amalgamated with certificate of title 119/4 subject to fencing covenant in transfer 83278 and mortgage 455754.2 and 184723.

(viii) Area 9 shall be vested in The Hawke’s Bay County Council.

(ix) Area 19 shall be added to the gravel reserve being part Lot 4, Deeds Plan 225.

(e) Pursuant to section 119, declares the land taken described in the Fifth Schedule to be dealt with as follows:
