Local Government Act 1974

Transfer of Unformed Legal Road in Blocks XI, XII and XV, Maramarua Survey District, Waikato County

Pursuant to section 323 of the Local Government Act 1974, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting Director-General of Lands, hereby declares that, the land described in the Schedule hereto has been transferred to the Crown by the Waikato County Council, pursuant to the said section 323, and on the publication of this notice the said land shall be deemed to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

South Auckland Land District—Waikato County

4.4228 hectares, more or less, being parts public road, situated in N.Z.M.S. 261 S13 Sheet 3.1, shown as Areas A, B, C, D, E and F on S.O. Plan 57901 and as Areas G, H, I, J and K on S.O. Plan 57900.

Land Acquired for Limited Access Road in the District of Manawatu

Pursuant to sections 20 and 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Lands, Wanganui, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for limited access road and has become road, limited access road and State highway and vested in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Lands, Napier, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is taken for a State primary school and shall vest in the Crown from the date of publication in the Gazette.

Land Declared to be Road, Road Stopped and Vested in Hawke’s Bay County

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Napier:

(a) Pursuant to section 114 (1), declares the land described in the First Schedule to be road which shall vest in The Hawke’s Bay County Council.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 (1) and 117 (3), declares the road described in Second Schedule to be stopped and further declares that:

(i) The area firstly described in the Second Schedule (now known as Rural Section 37 Puketitiri Reserve) shall vest in The Taramoa Station Limited at Napier, subject to mortgages 372555.2 and 331490.1;

(ii) The areas second, thirdly and fourthly described (now known as Rural Section 38 Puketitiri Reserve and Sections 215 and 216 Patoka C.G.D. respectively) shall vest in Mary Adelaide Whittle of Puketitiri, married woman, John Hayward Strawbridge of Puketitiri, sheepfarmer and Peter Ronald McDonald of Patoka, farmer, subject to mortgage 262974.

Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road in Hamilton City

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1981, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road, which is to vest in the Crown and to be used for the widening of Hillcrest Road.

The taking is considered reasonably necessary for the safe and convenient use of the road.

Any person having an estate or interest in the land may within 20 working days after the date of this notice send an objection in writing to the Planning Tribunal at Wellington. If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing will be held.
