to be a Judge of the Maori Land Court on and from the 1st day of October 1989.

International Air Services Licensing Act 1947
Notice of Intention to Amend An International Air Service Licence
Notice is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred on me by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947 to amend the Federal Express Corporation International Air Service Licence to permit the airline to operate services using DC10 aircraft and to widen its route description to read United States-Auckland/Christchurch-Sydney/Melbourne.
This amendment will take effect on 8 September 1989.

Shipping and Seamen Act 1952
Cancellation of Appointment and Appointment of a Deputy Member of the Marine Council
Pursuant to section 7 of the Shipping and Seamen Act 1952 (as substituted by section 5 of the Shipping and Seamen Act 1987), I, William Patrick Jeffries, Minister of Transport, hereby:
- Cancel the appointment of Ronald Kenneth Longley as a deputy member of the Marine Council.
- Appoint John Greig Herbert, a deputy member of the Marine Council, to represent owners of New Zealand ships.
