Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road State Highway No. 1

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 21 June 1989 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1 (Awanui-Bluff) from near its junction with Shag Point road to near its junction with Rivermouth Road north of Palmerston as more particularly shown on Sheets 1 to—of Plan LA 72/6/96 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of District Roading Engineer, Ministry of Transport, Auckland and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Railways Corporation, hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for railway purposes.
