Declaring an Interest in Land for Irrigation Purposes in the Bay of Islands County

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Acting District Manager, Department of Lands, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, a right to convey water containing the rights and powers set forth in clauses 1, 2 and 5 of the Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act 1952, as modified by the agreement dated the 13th day of October 1988 between the Crown and Gordon Douglas of Riponui and Eleanor Janet Douglas, his wife, a copy of which may be perused at the office of the Department of Lands at Auckland and identified by No. 25/30/3, is hereby acquired over the land described in the Schedule hereto, for irrigation purposes and shall vest in the Crown on the 3rd day of August 1989.
