Land Acquired for Road, Road Stopped, Road Set Apart for Railway Purposes, Land Declared to be Road in the County of Taumarunui

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, New Plymouth:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road, and pursuant to section 11 (1A) of the National Roads Act 1953, shall form part of State Highway 40, and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 116, declares the portion of road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped and remain vested in the Crown.

(c) Pursuant to sections 52 and 116, declares the portions of road described in the Third Schedule hereto to be stopped and, when so stopped, to be set apart for railway purposes and remain vested in the Crown.

(d) Pursuant to section 52, declares the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto to be set apart for road, and pursuant to section 11 (1A) of the National Roads Act 1953, form part of State Highway 40, and remain vested in the Crown.

Land Acquired for Road

368 square metres, being part Lot 1, D.P. 2716, Block IV, Ohura Survey District; as shown marked “B” on S.O. Plan 12394, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at New Plymouth.

Second Schedule

Road Stopped

All that piece of road containing 1266 square metres, situated in Block IV, Ohura Survey District, adjoining or passing through part Lot 2, D.P. 2717; as shown marked “D” on S.O. Plan 12394, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at New Plymouth.

Taranaki Land District

Road Stopped and Set Apart for Railway Purposes

All those pieces of road situated in Block IV, Ohura Survey District, described as follows:
