Land Held for Buildings of the General Government Set Apart for the Purposes of the Housing Act 1955

Pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Gisborne, declares the land described in the Schedule to be set apart for the purposes of the Housing Act 1955.

Land Declared to be Road, Road Stopped and Land Severed by Road Taken in Cook County

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Gisborne:

(a) Pursuant to section 114 (1), declares the land described in the First Schedule to be road and shall vest in The Cook County Council.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 (1) and 117 (3), declares the road firstly described in the Second Schedule to be stopped and amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 3C/1350 subject to mortgage 168173.1, and the road secondly described to be stopped and shall vest in Gary John Patterson of Gisborne, sheep farmer.

(c) Declares the land described in the Third Schedule to be taken under section 119 (1) and shall vest in Gary John Patterson of Gisborne, sheep farmer.

All in Block X, Patutahi Survey District as shown on S.O. Plan 8309, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Gisborne.

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Lands, Napier, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule is acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes, and shall vest in The Hawke’s Bay Catchment Board from the date of publication in the Gazette.
