Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7(1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto, is held for conservation purposes and it shall hereafter be so held.

Reservation of Land

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Conservation with the consent of the Minister of Lands, hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977.

Reserves Act 1977

Change of Classification of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Northern Regional Manager, Department of Conservation hereby changes the classification of the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, from a recreation reserve to a local purpose (road) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.
