Reserves Act 1977

Authorisation of the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Director of Land and Fauna, Department of Conservation, hereby authorises the exchange of that part of the Local Purpose (Water Supply) Reserve described in the First Schedule hereto, for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

First Schedule

South Auckland Land District—Tauranga County

6015 square metres, more or less, being Lot 1, L.T.S. 51841, situated in N.Z.M.S. 261 U14 Sheet 4-4. Part certificate of title 34B/782.

5.6495 hectares, more or less, being Lot 2, L.T.S. 51841, situated in N.Z.M.S. 261 U14 Sheet 4-4. Part certificate of title 1281/29.

South Auckland Land District—Tauranga County

3.1455 hectares, more or less, being part Allotment 521, Te Papa Parish, situated in N.Z.M.S. 261 U14 Sheet 4-4. Part New Zealand Gazette, 1980, page 3273. Shown as Area A on S.O. Plan 57624.

Revocation of Reservation

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Director of Recreation and Tourism of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Waitemata City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into council’s reserves account, such monies to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserve.

Revocation of Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve

Pursuant to section 29 of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Northern Regional Manager of the Department of Conservation hereby revokes the appointment of Birthright (Northland) Inc. to control and manage a reserve for a site for a holiday camp over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
