Appointment and Reappointment of Members of the Accident Compensation Appeal Authority
Pursuant to section 103 of the Accident Compensation Act 1982, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint
Peter John Cartwright, barrister and solicitor of Wellington
as a member of the Accident Compensation Appeal Authority for a term of 3 years on and from the date hereof, and to reappoint
Walter Max Willis, retired District Court Judge of Wellington
as a member of the Accident Compensation Appeal Authority for a term of 3 years on and from 1 September 1989.

Companies Special Investigations Act 1958
Appointment of Receiver and Manager under Companies Special Investigations Act 1958
Pursuant to section 4 (3) of the Companies Special Investigations Act 1958, as continued in force by section 74 of the Corporations (Investigation and Management) Act 1989, I, The Right Honourable Geoffrey Winston Russell Palmer, the Minister of Justice, hereby terminate, at his request, the appointment of Bruce William Kenneth White, of Auckland, Insolvency Practitioner, as a receiver and manager in respect of each company to which the Companies Special Investigations Act 1958 applies by virtue of the Companies Special Investigations Order 1989* (which companies are named in the First and Second Schedules hereto) and appoint Stephen Robert Patrick, of Auckland, Chartered Accountant, to be a receiver and manager in respect of each of those companies in the place of Bruce William Kenneth White.

Explanatory Note
This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice appoints Stephen Robert Patrick, of Auckland, Chartered Accountant, to be a receiver and manager of the companies in the Pacific Sun group of companies to which the Companies Special Investigations Act 1958 applies. This appointment is made in the place of Bruce William Kenneth White, of Auckland, Insolvency Practitioner, who has requested that his appointment as a receiver and manager be terminated. Kim Rowland Powell, of Auckland, Chartered Accountant, continues to hold office as a receiver and manager. Kim Rowland Powell and Bruce William Kenneth White were appointed receivers and managers in the place of the late Harold Goodman.
