Notice to Set Apart and Define a Special Quarantine Ground at Waitara (Notice No. 4907; Qual/0996/PHE)

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to section 11A (1) of the Animals Act 1967, land being the property of Ross Poultry (NZ) Ltd., Brown Road, Waitara, being 6.0005 hectares, Lot 1, D.P. 16092, part of Section 44, Urenui District Block VII, Waitara District, C.T. H3/622, is hereby declared to be a special quarantine ground for the detention of imported animals.

Noxious Plants Act 1978

Notice Declaring Cotton Thistle (Onopordum acanthium) a Class B Noxious Plant (No. 4911; Ag. 12/10/18/6)

  1. Pursuant to section 19 of the Noxious Plants Act 1978, the Noxious Plants Council hereby declares cotton thistle (Onopordum acanthium) to be a Class B noxious plant in that part of New Zealand lying within the boundaries of Hawke’s Bay District Noxious Plants Authority.

  2. This notice shall come into effect on the day after its date of notification in the Gazette.
