Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988
Initiation of Dumping Investigation
Pursuant to the provisions contained in section 10 of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988, notice is hereby given by the Secretary of Commerce of the initiation of the investigation to determine both the existence and effect of the alleged dumping of the goods set out in the Schedule, being satisfied that sufficient evidence has been provided that:
The goods imported or intended to be imported into New Zealand are being dumped; and
By reason thereof material injury to an industry has been or is being caused or is threatened.

Harbours Act 1950
Notice of Approval of Bylaws
I, Helen Elizabeth Clark, Minister of Conservation, pursuant to section 8A (8) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby give approval to the Lake Rotoiti Joint Committee Waters Control Bylaws 1987, adopted by a special meeting of the Committee on 27 February 1987, and approved by the Minister of Transport on 15 August 1988.

Notice of Approval of Bylaws
I, Helen Elizabeth Clark, Minister of Conservation, pursuant to sections 8A and 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby give approval to the following Great Barrier Island County Council bylaws:
(1) Chapter 17 of General Bylaw No. 1, passed on 25 July 1986, by a special meeting of the Great Barrier Island County Council, and approved by the Minister of Transport on 16 December 1988.
(2) Chapters 18 and 20 of General Bylaw No. 2, passed on 9 September 1988, by a special meeting of the Great Barrier Island County Council, and approved by the Minister of Transport on 11 October 1988.

Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978
Redefinition of Sanctuary
Notice is given pursuant to section 22 of the Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978 of my intention to redefine the boundaries of the sanctuary declared by the Marine Mammals Protection (Banks Peninsula Sanctuary) Notice 1988 to provide for the addition to the sanctuary of all areas of the sea (excluding lagoons) that are on the landward side of the baseline of the territorial sea between Summer Head and the southern bank of the Rakaia River. Lake Ellesmere would not be included in the proposed amendment.
It is also proposed to clarify the definition of “set net” by stating that drag nets are not within its ambit.
Any person wishing to make a submission shall do so in writing to: Director, Coastal and Marine, Department of Conservation, P.O. Box 10-420, Wellington, within 28 days after the date of publication of this notice.
