Education Lands Act 1949

Declaring Land in Otago Land District, Vested in the Otago Education Board as a Site for a Public School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, The Most Reverend Sir Paul Alfred Reeves, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Otago Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

Otago Land District—Maniototo County

4.5502 hectares, more or less, being Section 3, Block XVI, Maniototo Survey District. Part New Zealand Gazette, 1897, S.O. Plan 1018.

Given under the Hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 15th day of December 1988.

Public Works Act 1981

Land Acquired for Limited Access Road in Wanganui County

Pursuant to sections 20 (1) and 153 (2) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Lands, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule is hereby acquired for limited access road, which has become road, limited access road, and State highway, and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.
