Wheat Producers Levy Act 1987

Wheatgrowers Levy

Pursuant to section 5 of the Wheat Producers Levy Act 1987, notice is hereby given that, acting upon the recommendation of the Electoral Committee of United Wheatgrowers (NZ) Limited which recommendation was supported by not less than 75 percent of the persons present, and voting at the meeting of the Electoral Committee at which the recommendation was considered, United Wheatgrowers (NZ) Limited has, pursuant to section 4 of the Act, determined the rate of levy payable under section 3 of the Act to be $1.63 per tonne (exclusive of Goods and Services Tax).

This rate shall come into effect 28 days after the date of notification of this notice in the Gazette.

Local Authorities Loans Act 1956

Notice of Result of Poll on Loan Proposal

Matakana Urban Drainage Area

Pursuant to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the electors of the Matakana Urban Drainage Area taken on the 18th day of December 1987 on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of $227,000 to be known as the Matakana Sewerage Loan 1987—$227,000 for the purpose of providing a public sewerage scheme to service the Matakana Urban Drainage Area resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 39.

The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 14.

The number of informal votes was nil.

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
